Hi All,

I am new to SAS and I am practicing doing different process' using the coding.

I am trying to do the following, however I have hit a wall.

If we list all of the natural numbers below 10 that are multiples
of 3 or 5, we get: 3, 5, 6 and 9. The sum of these multiples is 23.

Find the sum of all the multiples of 3 or 5 below 1000.

Please can anyone advise how this should be written

How about this:

data test;

  do i=1 to 999;

  if mod(i,3)=0 or mod(i,5)=0 then total+i;

  if i=999 then output;

  end;

run;
