Unable to determine if SAS/ACCESS to PC File Formats is licensed

Dear all:

Could you please tell me how to resolve this issue?  I get this error message when I try to convert a simple excel file containing no funny characters.  Thanks -

NOTE: Unable to determine if SAS/ACCESS to PC File Formats is licensed

and installed on the SAS server "Local".

Re: Unable to determine if SAS/ACCESS to PC File Formats is licensed

PROC SETINIT NOALIAS ; RUN ;

Will indicate the parts of the SAS system licensed in your SAS world.

in view the message (which I have not seen before) I imagine that although SAS/Access to PC Files is licensed it is not installed.

if you don't know how to solve that problen, speak to your system administrators (who provide your SAS service) or SAS Customer Support in your region.
