Below is the code with title statement, but title is not appearing in PDF

ods pdf file = "test.pdf";

proc sgpanel data=sashelp.prdsale;
  title "Yearly Sales by Product";
  panelby year / novarname columns=1;
  hbar product / response=actual;

ods pdf close;

It does for me. I'm using version 9.3 on Win7-32.

Also shows for me using SAS 9.2.3 on Win7.

Long shot, try:

goptions reset=all;

I have had occasional odd interactions from settings in goptions that can persist from session to session unawares which I didn't expect from the SG graphics procedures.

Another thing to try if your default style is not a SAS supplied style to specify one of the standard Styles from SAS.

I have the exact same problem. I'm running SAS 9.2 on Windows 7. The problem was reproduced using your example code, with and without the inclusion of "goptions reset=all;".
