Just trying to calculate number of days between the following two dates. Looking forward for your advise please?

date2='21NOV2013:04:45:43.000'dt;
day1=intck('second',date2,date1)/86400;

day2=round(day1);

day3=floor(day1);

put day1 day2 day3;

The day1 calculation is no different from (date2 - date1)/86400 ;

I would prefer to use 'dtdate' instead of 'second':

     day1=intck('dtdate',date2,date1) ;


'dtdate' is measuring days in datetime, ie seconds.
