Spacing between tables in proc report when using by variable

Hello,

Is there a way to decrease the amount of space between tables that are created when using a by variable with proc report and outputting to pdf?  If so, what is that option called?

Thanks,

KelseyB

Since you are outputting to .pdf (using ODS i suppose) i don't think there is an option to specify space between variables. If you were creating .lst file then you can use spacing= option in proc report statement.

Thank you, ndp, for letting me know. I must output to pdf so I will leave it as is with the default space.

The ODS style element Parskip controls spacing between tables when using an ODS destination.

You might be able to make a custom style to set a size that works.

Ballardw,

From what I have read about parskip, it only applies to rtf output, and I need pdf output.  Thanks for the suggestion though.
