Hi all,

Please help out in the shift table. please check the excel attached for the sample data.

How to apply preloadfmt in proc freq .. is that possible?

use proc tabulate or similar

As Jaap mentions you'll need to use another proc.

Tabulate code might look something like this:

proc tabulate data=have;

     class post base /missing preloadfmt;

     format post base <the format name goes hear>;

     table base,

             post * n='' * f= f8.

             / printmiss ;

run;
