I just bought a new laptop and I have windows 8, unfortunately SAS 9.3 (TS1M1) is not working in this operating system. I wanted an opinion: should I wait (I like a lot windows 😎 or should I instal windows 7?
It seems that, officially, SAS does not support Windows 8 just yet.

On a more personal note, I would get Windows 8 off my laptop as soon as possible !!
My opinion, install Windows 7. Its stable and supported.
It also depends on how much you need SAS and want it on your new laptop or how long you could go with using two laptops.
Or
You can have Virtualization enabled and install Windows 7 on virtual drive.
