Hi, I am a new SAS user having downloaded the latest University Edition in the last few days. I am using SAS Studio on my mac, running VM Fusion (Version 6.0.5) as the virtualization software.
I can run most of the sample code provided by my lecturer, but I note that some of the procedures will not run. "Proc reg" for example works fine, but I get an error (Error: Procedure model not found.) when I run "Proc model". I get a similar error when running "Proc autoreg". I did a bit of research which suggested running "proc setinit no alias" to check the installation, the output from which is shown below.
Are these included in the University edition or did I fail to download some component? Many thanks in advance.

PROC AUTOREG and PROC MODEL are part of SAS/ETS (a special set of procedures for forecasting and analyzing time series data). SAS/ETS is not included as in the free SAS University Edition offering.

If this is still an issue, there is an alternative way to access SAS for free. This post explains. -Ken
