Hi there,

I would have a question concerning an update for the SAS University Edition. The program just worked fine but yesterday I`ve clicked the "Update"-Button on the Information Center page. It started downloading but by accident I closed my browser. When I re-open the Information Center, it shows me under "Notifications" that SAS University Edition is still updating. After waiting for several hours it`s still the same. I need the program for my bachelor thesis so i have to make it work again asap. Is there anybody of you who could help me please? Thank you guys!

Greets,

Anne

I have the same problem on a Win 8.1 PC even without closing my browser.  It works fine on my Win 7 64 bit PC with emulation of Win 7 x64 and 2 GB of RAM.  In Win 8.1 I tried emulating Win 7 64 bit with 2 GB of RAM is seemed to install until I clicked the "Update" button.  Five hours later  it was still busy installing so I shut it down.

I'm having the same issue... closed to browser, and now the wheel next to "Updating SAS University Edition" just keeps spinning for hours.  I hope someone has a solution that can help.

Try re-downloading the original software. Not a perfect solution but should get you going.

It worked! Thank you. It was also able to apply the update after I reinstalled and clicked "update" again from my browser.
