How we can make connection with local SQL database ?

By SQL database I assume you mean SQL Server?

If you are on a Windows host, you need to license and install SAS/ACCESS to ODBC or OLEDB.

See installation reference and usage documentation on support.sas.com.

If you are on a UNIX host, you need to license SAS/ACCESS to SQL Server, which in turn uses a third party ODBC driver and ODBC manager, see doc for this as well.

I am a window user and using SQL 2008 R2, Can you please give me a single example of how we can establish a connection with our local machine and with server database.
