Hi!

Is "EXCEL" not a DBMS option in SAS 9.4 proc import/export anymore?  Is it that only XLS, XLSX, CSV, etc are valid now?

Should I clarify?

As per the documentation below, the option 'EXCEL' exists for sas 9.4

Its valid, if you're having issues post the code/issues.  My guess is that there's a 64bit/32bit incompatibility.
