My company allows each employee to take 2 training courses a year.  It is helpful to have them planned out before the year begins so they can budget for the training expenses.  Does anyone know when SAS tends to release their training course schedules?  I believe I have also noticed that they do it at 6-month intervals.  When are those?  I can never remember.

Hi:

The January-June 2013 were posted to the web last week. The July-December schedule will come on line sometime in 2nd quarter 2013. But, the schedule is somewhat fluid, too. So you might check now and see a list of offerings, but then later, there might be another date added or another location added.

The best way to check offerings is to find your class of interest in the complete course list and then click on the course title. Every course's web page has the offering dates, locations, detailed course outline and even, for some of the courses (mostly beginner level), we have a self-assessment test that will tell you whether you're at the correct level of knowledge for the class.

You can find the complete course list here:

https://support.sas.com/edu/courses.html?ctry=us

Or, if you are interested in the classes in a particular city, you can click on any training center "dot" on the map and you will go to the city's web site, which shows only the classes that will be offered in that training center:

https://support.sas.com/edu/country.html?ctry=us

If you find that a class you're interested in doesn't appear on the schedule, there could be a few reasons for that -- the course is under revision, the course is going to be replaced completely by a new course, the course is only offered on-site or the course is a Business Knowledge Series course and the dates have not been finalized. You can always fill out the interest list form here to get your name on the list for a particular course:

If you have specific training questions, you can send email to training@sas.com for more in-depth help.

Hope this helps,

cynthia
