Retreiving data slowly in web application (stored process)

Hi Team,

Am entering some data through web application (Using Java front end) and we are able to get those data through stored processes and we are able to send the data again to the front end.

We are getting the data in front end web application also.

Issue is:

We are able to get the data only after 3 or 4 refresh in the browser. before that it is displayin empty.

After refreshing 3 or more times we are able to get the data perfectly.

Please suggest regarding this.

Regards,

Aravind

Hi,

Suggest you describe your situation more.  You have a java front end for data entry (no stored processes?).  Then a stored process that runs a report on the data that was entered? And the stored process returns results to the front end?  So you enter data, and hit submit, and expect to get an html page back from your stored process that shows what was entered?  I'm confused.

Is the problem that the front end is taking a long time to get the submitted data into your database?  When you say you refresh browser 3 or 4 times, is that running the stored process 3 or 4 times, waiting until it sees data?  Or is it perhaps just a problem with your java front end?

Also, suggest you post this in the "SAS Stored Processes" community.

Kind Regards,

Hi quentin,

Yes we are using stored processess and it results the results to the front end. When we are refreshing it is not calling 3 or 4 times the stored process. Just we are refreshing the browser, so it is getting reflected in the front end after some time. we could not able to get the results immediately.
