I have used Meany Formula SAS.
U have any formula Like Excel Vlookup like formula.
Hi,
I'm run the program in Proc Report after RUN I have received the error Log....................
NOTE 49-169: The meaning of an identifier after a quoted string might change in a future SAS release. Inserting white space between a quoted string and the succeeding identifier is recommended.
Pls provide the Resolution
Please post code and complete log for the proc report.
This specific message often comes from something like:
Put "The value of variable y is:"y;
It is only saying that at some time in future the behavior may change from the current. It is not an error but the same program might generate slightly different appearing output sometime in future.
If you have something that looks like that change it to:
Put "The value of variable y is:" y;
(add a space before the variable)
Dear Sir,
Thank you so much for your comments.
I have clear the issue according to your comments.
Please give some example of what you wish to do?
There are many lookup techniques that you can use in SAS, like SQL join, user defined formats, data step key or hash table....
DO NOT compare Excel with SAS, they're not even apples and oranges.
Excel is a spreadsheet calculator, SAS is statistics on top of a simple, yet effective database system.
What do you want to achieve?
