I am passing value from a stored process to another stored process using query string.

https://URL-of-stred-process?age=14

Now I would like to use this query string age as a macro variable. So that I can run some filters on it. Pleas Help...

Hi,

You can pass this way..try this...

First stored process creating links and passing parameters:

proc report data=want nowd ;

column  age    ;

define age/left;

compute age;

length nexturl $500;

nexturl = "&_URL?_program=/Users/sasdemo/My+Folder/KPPOC/agefiltercode" ||

         '&age=' || urlencode(trim(left(age))) ;

call define(_col_,"URL",nexturl);

endcomp;

run;

write you filtering code in second SP:(stored process name : agefiltercode)

Thanks,

Shiva
