Hi everyone!

Does anyone know what SAS 9.1 procedure I should use to run a multiple regression analysis. I have 45 independent variables and 1 dependent variable, and I need values for the coefficients of a linear regression.

Thanks!

proc reg and/or GLM

I don't think SAS 9.1 recognizes Proc Reg. It's not in the documentation from SAS and when I use it my SAS 9.1 program gives this error:

Error: Procedure REG not found.

Can you tell me more about GLM?

Thanks.

If you don't have Proc REG you either do not have the SAS STAT product installed or it is damaged.  You need SAS STAT to do multivariate analyses.  In Base SAS you are limited to univariate analyses and correlations.

Hi,

Just make sure you have SAS/STAT using

proc setin;

run;
