So... I'm stuck at this problem. So I have dataset a, looks something like this
id1
1
2
3
and another dataset b,
id2
1
2
I want to merge a and b to a new dataset ab, to make it looks like this :
id1 id2
1 1
1 2
2 1
2 2
3 1
3 2
how to do this??? Thanks!!!
data a;
input id1;
cards;
1
2
3
;
data b;
input d2;
cards;
1
2
;
data ab;
do j=1 to n1;
set a nobs=n1 point=j ;
do i=1 to nobs;
set b nobs=nobs point=i;
output;
end;end;
stop;
proc print;run;
or
Proc sql;
Create table want as
Select a.*, b.*
From a, b
order by id1
;
quit;
