Making a link to a sas project

Hello,

Hello,

If I have a sas project on sas Guide and I want to make link to my project : project_one.

I want to have this table

Project         LINK
Project_one link1
Project_two link2

If I click on link1, I open the project project_one

Thank you

Re: Making a link to a sas project

And where do you want this table of links?
Who should use it?

If you projects can be saved as stored process you can create this table in the SAS portal or any other Web page.

What should happen after someone clicks on a link?

To reply to your questions

where do you want this table of links?

I will make a new project ( on sas guide).

I want to create a dashboad - in sas table -for all projects created.

Like this :

Project    Link

P1           link_1

P2           link_2

...            .....

Pi            link_i

...            .....

Pn           link_n

Who should use it?

me and other users for sas guide

What should happen after someone clicks on a link?

If someone clicks on link : link_i , the link will open de project : Pi

Thank you again for your interst

Re: Making a link to a sas project

AFAIK, none of the dataset viewers have a provision to recognize and automatically open a URL, so you will need to set up some report for viewing with a tool that does open URL's.

The next question is, where are your projects stored? In local directories, in directories on the server through the Files section of the Server List window, in network drives, or in folders in the SAS Metadata?

Re: Making a link to a sas project

Automatically opening a project in a Windows program is a Windows function and works only for files stored where the Windows clients have direct access to. Unless you can set up a network connection that mounts the server's project directory on your Windows clients, what you want to do is not possible. WebDAV might work.

Re: Making a link to a sas project

I'm not sure if I see the benefit of this.
EG users are typically advanced users. Finding the relevant projects stored in well organised directories should be sufficient and work fine.
Less advanced user could use stored process with prompts cretaceous from EG.
