Appreciate if someone of you help me with the interview question which I came across today.
There are multiple .sas files in a specific folder. I need a program to determine the .sas files which has a keyword 'employee'.
This question was asked on here last week...search the forum the answer.
Recall that all .sas files are text files, so any command line search tools would also work, possibly even Windows Search.
The key to answering this correctly in an interview isn't necessarily knowing the exact answer, but knowing how to approach it. You can get this experience either through work, or if not work then review questions on here.
grep employee *.sas
from the UNIX commandline. Use the right tool for the job.
