Define a shortcut key in SAS linux

Hi,

I want to define a shortcut key for submitting clipboard in LINUX SAS. I know there is a shortcut to do this (Alt+R+C).

But I need one single key like F3 to submit clipboard since it will make the work lot easier.

I tried to define the key in keys menu in Linux SAS (I typed submit clipboard for F1) but it is not working.

Please guide me on this.

Re: Define a shortcut key in SAS linux

If you press the F9 key to you get a KEYS window pop up? Should if you are using base SAS. You can select any unassigned key and type GSUBMIT buffer=default after your key.

Then that key should submit code from the clipboard. These are the Windows instrutions, check your documentation for GSUBMIT to see if it should be different.

If you are using EG then I believe the Keys menu isn't there.

Re: Define a shortcut key in SAS linux

Map the GSUBMIT command to a key.
