Content Server Folder does not appear

A content server folder created using one login does not appear using another despite relevant rights having being applied in both content server and console management. I say relevant rights are applied but I'm betting they are in fact NOT. They just really, really look like they areSmiley Happy

Appreciate any assistance, hints, tips or similar even when accompanied by laughing and pointing. I can take it.

Regards,

Brian.

Re: Content Server Folder does not appear

Hi Shiva!

Found it:-)
The problem was that I needed to add various groups in the content server permissions which were missing.
Thanks for your help,

Brian.

Re: Content Server Folder does not appear

Hi,

Just check in this path in your configuration directory (for eg)

F:\SAS\Config\Lev1\AppData

Thanks,

Shiva

Re: Content Server Folder does not appear

I don't find anything there Shiva. Is SAS content server typically found on the same server as the SAS installation? So using for example FTP pro I should be able to see the structure of Content Server directly?

Re: Content Server Folder does not appear

Hi,

SAS content Server folder is typically found in the configuration directory of you web application server(mid tier).Just try to find in your mid tier.

If you dont have access to mid-tier config directory then you can also try this URL

http://Servername:8080/SASContentServer/repository/default/sasfolders/

Thanks,

Shiva
