I would suggest to run the SAS Depot checker utility http://support.sas.com/kb/38/236.html
Check then also if your media (HDD or DVD) is OK.
Check also that your Operating System is 32-bit or 64-bit and install your SAS software within the same plarform (32 or 64 bit). by the way, I believe you should be already in 64 bit.
With those checks you should get your own answer. By the way, on those cases, you can always contact your SAS support.
