Hello, is there an alternative to the PCFILES server to access MS-ACCESS 32 bits data from SAS 64 bits? Both programs are running on the same Win7-64 machine.

Two options:

  • Microsoft 64-bit ACE engine - download from Microsoft. This can be used with 64-bit SAS/ACCESS to PC Files.
  • ODBC can be used. You would need SAS/ACCESS to ODBC installed and licensed though:

Did you try proc import ? I also doubt if this could work, since Excel can't work in this case.

proc import database='......' datatable='.......' dbms=access replace;run;
