I miss the ability to down-vote ballot ideas. Seems now all we can do is like an idea.
When I have submitted an idea in the past, it's been useful to see how many up/down votes it gets. In general, ideas seem to get little attention from the community, so now if I have 2 likes for an idea, I don't know if it's because 2 people looked at it and liked it or if 10 people looked and 8 thought the idea was rubbish.
And on a related note, I'd support just about any proposals for ways to bring more activity to the ballot ideas community. The old-school SASWare ballot used to feel like an annual event (when the survery came out, and when results were released). I asssume the online ballot is not providing nearly as much information back to SAS, given the low participation that I see.
(I apologize if that all sounds negative; I feel positive about communities.sas.com : )
On visiting my profile recently I notice the "Autosaved Drafts" and thought I would poke around a bit.
I found out that those drafts, as of May 4 2017 go back to May of 2016. I manually deleted them for a couple months worth but decided that maybe there should be profile setting to set how long to keep such things. I have had zero, none, nadda, reasons to recover draft post text going back more than one or two weeks.
Perhaps removing some of this might free up disk or memory for forum performance.
I did spend a little time poking around the profile options in case I had missed a feature for controlling the duration such things were saved but did not find one.
Note that I see this was just autosaved. I likely wont need to reference that autosave after I post this.
