Users would like to know what are the difference between Account type is: Interactive and System?

There are two types of User Account available in SAS Drug Development 4.5.1.  They are an Interactive and System account types.  An interactive user account in the SDD can either use the SDD User Interface (web interface) or access the system programmatic using the Application Programming Interface (API).

See Figure #1 for default selection.

The System user account only allows for programmatic access of the system using the remote API.  The only other difference to the System account is the required changing of the account’s password.  The System account password is forced to be changed as part of the password renewal rules. This will remove the need to alter the System account password during the password renewal cycle.  This See Figure #2 for selection.

Note: All system privileges and permissions are enforced on both Account types.
