Dear Friends
my institution asked me to switch to using SAS Citrix (currently using sas desktop). They said it does not require VPN, can run on either Mac or PC. My concern is if SAS Citrix can read and write from files I stored locally (e.g. C:/users/dropbox.....)
they are not answering this question specifically. Does anyone have experience?
thanks
R
It depends on how they set it up but usually no.
You have to have a central area where the SAS server will be able to see your local drive as well.
If you use any x commands or DDE that's not functional as well. And you should verify where output files will be created so you can easily access the files.
Ask them to test it first and give that a shot.
