Hello

I've been reading material such as and http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/mcrolref/62978/PDF/default/mcrolref.pdf however I do not understand why the PUT statement below does not resolve to "It Worked!" in at least one of the instances.

Any insight would be gladly received please.&

%let Two_Pdf=It Worked!;

%let p=Two Words;

%let e=PDF;

* Neither put statement resolves to "It Worked!";

  %put >>> |&%scan(&p.,1)_&e..|;

  %put >>> |&%scan(&p.,1)_&&e..|;

  %put >>> |&&%scan(&p.,1)_&e..|;
