This works fine:

import saspy
import pandas as pd
sas = saspy.SASsession(cfgname='winiomlinux')
cars = sas.sasdata("CARS","SASHELP")
cars.describe()

in a Jupyter notebook. Just wondering, how can I assign a library along the lines of this SAS code:

libname SomeAmazingLibrary "/sas/data/sas_datasets/Bla/Di/Bla";

I figured it out:

import saspy
import pandas as pd
from IPython.display import HTML

sasSession = saspy.SASsession(cfgname='winiomlinux')

sasSession.saslib('SomeAmazingLibrary', path="Bla/Di/Bla/SomeServerSubfolder")

dataset = sas.sasdata("SomeGreatDataSet","SomeAmazingLibrary")
dataset.describe()
