Are you using R-Submit in remote desktop? Is it Unix server?  do you want to import or copy the same file in a local drive is it Microsoft oS?

those questions need to clear first

Thanks

You can use Open source FTP like WinSCP for transferring files from server to local. Also check if you can map the network drive with the physical path.

Thanks,
