Here is the first obs of a txt file I need to import. I can't get the correct delimiter. some vars have been starred out for privacy reasons.

Its hard to see with that data you posted, but it almost looks like it's a fixed file format, ie no delimiter?
If you're sure you have a delimiter look at displaying your text with a HEX format to see the delimiter.

I got ahead of myself. It is a fixed width file.
