Dear All,

I would like to create Index for Table2 by using Rollnumber in the Data step ? Is it possible ?

Table2:

RollnumberDobSalaryexperience
111/12/8725002
512/04/5634003
303/06/7912004
204/05/94445604
403/07/99129083
603/07/99129087

Thanks a lot in advance for help.

Regards,

S Ravuri.

Yes, there is a data step option that will create indexes upon table creation.

If the table already exist (and you don't want recreate it), use either Proc Datasets, or SQL.
