I made a change in one of the PROC FORMAT steps and when I try to save the program it won't allow me to save changes. I exited anyway and opened some other SAS programs, made few changes and SAS does save those changes. My autoexec program is here: C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.4
I'm baffled.
Everything under Program Files is writable for the administrator-level accounts.
And since SAS uses a specially defined userid (sas) for installation, that user can also write there.
All others are blocked, as they should be.
If you want to change your personal autoexec, do so in your directory under C:\users

Thanks.
