Hi,

I have an autoexec file that I run it to connect to a library(ABC) on server side and to create a table and so on and it runs without any problem.
But when I run a code on my local computer to connect to the same library I'm getting an error message:
ERROR: User does not have appropriate authorization level for library ABC.

The code that I'm running located on "C:\".

What can be the problem?

Thanks.

Can you access the same location from your desktop that you can from the server? Even if you can, usually the path is specified differently so that the same libname may not work on the server and desktop.

Thank you Reeza. But could you please explain more. I use the same path to access to this library.

C: drive is always local to the computer. This means that the C: drive on your local computer is not the same location that the C: drive on your SAS server.
You should talk to your SAS server admin for directions how to use storage accessible from your SAS server session.
