Will my Keyboard Macros/Abbreviations get migrated to Windows 10

It's been a while since I've had to deal with this. We are about to migrate to Windows 10 and I'm wondering if my Keyboard Macros/Abbreviations will get migrated as well?

Thanks,

Brian

Re: Will my Keyboard Macros/Abbreviations get migrated to Windows 10

Just in case I would save your editor macros. It is very easy:

From the Enhanced Editor go to the Tools >Keyboard Macros > Macros.

Highlight all of the macros you want to save in the Name column (click on first, shift and then click on last to get all)

There should be an "Export" button. Click on it.

You can then specify an external file with KMF extension. Make sure to save it someplace you'll remember with a nice name as otherwise you may have fun finding it later.

If you find your keyboard stuff missing then you can go through the same steps only Import instead of highlight and export.

You may very well need this if upgrading SAS.

Are you using SAS Display Manager, Enterprise Guide or SAS Studio?
