I have changed one of the macro defintion and to bring modified macro to effect, I need compile all macros, while doing its giving me below error:
ERROR: A lock is not available for COMPILED.SASMACR.CATALOG, lock held by another process.
ERROR: File COMPILED.SASMACR.CATALOG has not been saved because copy could not be completed.
Please help.
Sounds like you are trying to store compiled macros into a catalog, but the catalog is locked.
Is that what you are trying to do? Do you know why the catalog is locked?
Why do you need to store the compiled macros into a catalog? Why not just keep the source code as text and use SASAUTOS option to let SAS find and compile the macros as you call them? Then you won't have this problem.
