Yesterday there was a Java update (Java 7 update 79 ) and I thoughtlessly OKeyed the update. Now clicking Oracle VM Virtual Box does not bring the UE. I am not sure which of these is the correct one ( jre-6u14-windows-i586, jre-7u79-windows-i586, jre-1_5_0_12-windows-i586-p)?
I searched here but I am not hitting the answer. I knew there is write -up on this here.
Thanks.

I hope you have figured this out by now.
note: I have installed SAS not in "C:\Program Files"
but in
C:\program-files Real Programmers abhor spaces in folder names 🙂
The answer is not where I thought it would be:
C:\program-files\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.4\nls\en\sasv9.cfg
the references in the configuration file used to point to specific java installation folders.
Now SAS has contained that set of problems by copying the current version of java
when you installed SAS into its own folder:
C:\program-files\SASHome\SASSecureJava\9.4
C:\program-files\SASHome\SASPrivateJavaRuntimeEnvironment\9.4\jre\bin
