HI, anybody can help? i download a test.sas7bdat file online, and saved it to my c: mydata folder, but when i use the code :
data want;
set 'c: \mydata\test.sas7bdat';
i got error message:
the value 'c: \mydata\test'n is not a valid sas member name. where is the problem?
SAS EG usually works on a server so you need to upload your data to the server. This would require you to upload the file, you can look at Copy Task to move data to the server, it's a custom task.
Do you really have a space between the C: and the \ ?
Is SAS actually running on your PC or is your copy of Enterprise Guide connecting to SAS that is running on some other server?
