Hello everyone,

I run SAS in UNIX, the SAS log will be saved automatically at same folder of the SAS code. but there is no proc printto in the SAS code.

1.Would you please tell me how to set up the location of log files initially in UNIX?

2.Also if the default log file is not at the same location as the program, how can I check where the log file will be directed to by proc printto file =.....;run;  ???

Thank you!

I'm assuming you are running SAS in batch mode in which case the LOG system option will do what you want:
