Hi

I am getting this error while executing the below code:-The EXCEL engine cannot be found.

libname lib  excel  ' E:\GEETHA\Geetha_Practicing\OUTPUT\report.xlsx ' ;

SAS 9.1, Excel 2007 are used.

- Your SAS session needs to run on Windows.

- You need to have the "SAS/ACCESS Interface to PC Files" module licensed.

What is your setup, and what do you want to achieve?

In addition to the above comments:

SAS 9.1 does not support Excel 2007 - you cannot create an XLSX file.

32455 - The EXCEL and XLS engines do not support the importing and exporting of Microsoft Office 200...

There are workarounds provided in the link.

This version of SAS is almost 13 years old. If you're using SAS for learning try SAS University Edition instead which is SAS 9.4
