Hi There,

I wanted to configure SASUNIT(Unit testing for SAS) on my 9.4 version SAS.

Unfortunately after unzipping and placing all the files to the desired location, I ended up with few issues.

It would be great if anyone could help me on the configuration procedure.

Please let me know if any additional details required.

Regards,

Ratheesh Rajan

Can you be more specific about the issues you're facing?

I've used SASUNIT at a previous client site although I don't currently use it so there's a limit to the help that I can offer but in any case it's open source so you should be able to tailor it to your needs (which is what we did at the site I mentioned).

@ChrisBrooks

I've never heard of SASUNIT but it sounds interesting. Can you share your experiences with it?

@rara

Sorry to hijack your discussion. I hope my follow-up question is also of interest to you.

It’s open source SAS code available at Sourceforge https://sourceforge.net/projects/sasunit/?source=directory we wrote a wrapper in VBA which allowed us to dynamicaaly select from a range of pre-built tests which we ran for regression testin* prior to any release to production. We found that by running it in background we could run hundreds of tests in an hour or so which massively reduced tne number of regression defects reported

Did you read the readme file and the online documentation for installation?

If you still have some issues open a support ticket on sourceforge or report them here. My company has created the SASUnit framework and i can forward your issues to my colleagues.
