Re: SAS log showing error

Common causes for this type of problem are:

  • the path is mistyped
  • the path is incorrectly defined
  • the computer on which SAS is running does not have the permissions to access a correctly-defined path

Please supply the actual error from your SAS log so we can offer further advice.

Re: SAS log showing error

Would you be able to attach the log that shows the code and the messages ? Is it possible the file extension name was not recognized ?

I got the reason why my error was coming in the log.It was because the dat file was not in the same drive where the dat file library had to be created.I made the library and kept the dat.file in the same drive.Thank you so much for replying.I will need your help if i get stuck again.
