Is there a way to clear system cache (or how you call it in sas) where sas stores compiled (or not) macros. My SAS seems to execute old version of marco despite including new version before executing.

Please compile the newer version.

I compile it before executing.

What is your setting for SASAUTOS? Are you using compiled macro catalogs or just pointing to source code directories?

Perhaps you have a search order to search catalog A then B and the old macro definition is compiled into A and you are compiling the new one into B.

Perhaps there is an extra comment or unbalanced quotes in your source code and the new version is not actually getting compiled.
