Hi. Newbie here so please be gentle.
I'm creating some bespoke inhouse training at my workplace for colleagues who are completely new to SAS. None of them have prior programming experience. One of the modules will be on using local and remote submit, however when putting together the material I'm finding it hard to explain the differences between the two in a non-technical manner (although it's easy enough to explaing when each should be used) .
Funnily enough I couldn't find an explanation of this subject in the free SAS training in SAS' own training portal either. Could anyone steer me in the direction of some easily accessible material on the internet? So far I'm not getting anywhere.
Thanks!

Draw a picture, computer, server, network.
Local is on computer. Remote is send to a computer somewhere else, process, send results back.
