When I am at the base of Log and scroll up, I am sent half a page up. How do I reset that to the usual way a scroll works?
Note: I did not find the specific Community for this type of question, so I ask here.
How do you indicate that you are scrolling up, mouse click, scroll wheel, function key or something else, and which OS are you running?
I use Windows 7 and it is the middle scroll wheel of the mouse. The scroll toolbar also goes up half a page when I do that. It is something that had bothered me for a long time, so it's not an accident.
I'm not sure if it will help but from the Log go to the Tools=>Options=>Log=>General. The dialog box will show a section for Scroll. If the Vertical is currently showing Half then you might try one of the other options, possibly CURSOR.
Thanks, I think depends on what kind of info was placed in log or something else because now it works. I will get back when the issue happens again.
If you are running code written by someone else look for DM statements that involve the LOG. That might be the cause of an intermittent behavior.
ok, I ran a macro twice which generates some amount of data
This scrolling problem appears: when I scroll from bottom, I am sent a considerable space somewhere up.
However, if I give dm log 'clear'; (clearing the log) and run the macro once, the scroll works as a normal mouse cursor.
The setting up of scrolling->vertical as indicated above by ballardw does not have any effect.
