Does anybody know anything about this error:

ERROR: Permanent copy of file SASUSER.PROFBAK.CATALOG was deleted

Does it affect the output? Please let me know.

Thanks.

The SASUSER.Profile catalog keeps some of your SAS customizations such as Keys entries, window location size and colors. The PROFBAK is updated from the existing PROFILE catalog each time SAS starts. Generally this should not cause any issue as its existence is to allow you to recover settings if needed. The Profile catalog if deleted will also be recreated on the next start from default values kept in SASHELP.

I would however look to see how it was deleted. Generally it is a bad idea to use the SASUSER library for general data storage.

I did not use SASUSER library. I used only SAS work library.

Thanks.

You may have received other messages before that, as in

SAS(R) 9.2 Language Reference: Concepts, Second Edition

If your problem persists, navigate to your sasuser directory outside of SAS (explorer, commandline) and manually delete the profile* files there.
