Here is an example of Linux shell script used to sftp files created by a SAS program :

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib64:/lib64: $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
sftp YOURUSER@SFTPSERVER << EOF
# Transfer all files using mput
mput /YOUR FOLDER ON SFTP SERVER/*
bye
