Hi,

Can any body please let me know good books for learning Arrays and Hashing.I also want to know is hashing always better than PROC SQL.

there are links to several good papers on ARRAYS and if you scroll down to the section "FORMAT ALTERNATIVES" there are links to several papers on hashing (read them in the order shown on the web site)

and search for ARRAYS and/or HASHING and you'll find lots of free papers at all kinds of levels

Everyone has its advantage .You cann't simply judge someone is better than others.

SQL is a industrial standard which has already prove its value.

Hashing and SQL has its own advantage respectively . It is hard to compare them.

I recommend to learn both skills. The more skills you have learned ,the more powerful you will be.
