Hi,

Is there any way to proc tabulate that sums a variable based on two conditional criteria.
Ie. Sum number of clients, in each state, by postcode.

Not sure how to post an example dataset. Using SAS EG 7.1.

Appreciate any help.

Either include the 2 variables in your BY or CLASS statement.

If you want a table for each state/postcode then it goes in the BY statement, otherwise CLASS statement.

Thanks both for your helpful advice.

I may have explained myself poorly, but the video above helped me get to where I needed to be. I ended up adding the second variable to the freq statement.

Daniel.
