I am calculating sum of salaries by using proc means, the code is given below-

proc means data=work.new2 sum;
class id month;
var salary;
output out=work.new3;
run;

but in dataset new3, i am unable to found "sum" variable. I mean i m not getting the sum in the output dataset.
