HI All,

We are upgrading from SAS 9.1.3 to SAS 9.3.

We had migrated the metadata already.

We gonna start testing our BASE SAS codes in SAS 9.3 in a couple of days.

It would be helpful if someone help us to come up with high level plan for this testing.

Like, What are the points to be taken care of while we test our codes in the new version.

TIA,

Hi,

Generally speaking for testing, one point you might already have considered is to make sure you perform some tests in your old environment, record the results, and then repeat those exact same tests in the new environment and compare the results. Obviously, there should be no differences.

Regards,

Amir.

Try this Google search

9.1.3 9.3 conversion site:sas.com

You will find lots of conversion help.

I usually rely on the SAS test suite for installation testing.   It's much more complete than a sample of my programs.
